I was doing research on the Stegosaur species debate concerning the Morrison Formation...
There it is argued that the species Stegosaurus longispinus with unusually long tail spikes may in fact look more Kentrosaur-like.
Moreover I was inspired by this Deviation ( www.deviantart.com/art/Morriso… ) and the TetZoo article about the "Stegosaur
Wars" ( scienceblogs.com/tetrapodzoolo… ).

Update (March 2015):
At the end of 2014, Roman Ulansky finally published a paper which finally sets "Stegosaurus" longispinus apart from the genus,
being renamed as Natronasaurus longispinus. It is considered to be related to Kentrosaurus.
